Located on Lake Superior, Tam O'Shanter is a luxury destination two miles off the main road that has 10 acres of land and 560 feet of lakeshore which has old growth pine, cedar and hemlock and an active eagle's nest.
Built in 1997, Tam O'Shanter was hand-fashioned to reflect the old-world craftsmanship reminiscent of an opulent turn-of-the-century lakeside lodge.
The smoke-free lodge has eight bedrooms, two with Jacuzzi tubs. There are two fully equipped kitchens, numerous balconies and an impressive great room with a Brownstone wood burning fireplace.
